Blackouts are not a CableVision decision

There may be times when you tune in to a show you are hoping to watch, only to find that show blacked out. We regret the frustration and inconvenience this may cause; however blackouts are something over which we have no control.

Respecting distribution rights

Blackouts are implemented in respect of distribution contracts for programming, and may apply to sporting events, movies, concerts, pay-per-view or other programming.

Sometimes blackouts are based on a local network's exclusive rights to air certain programming in Bermuda; or they may be based on an international network's lack of rights for the Bermuda market.

We hope this helps to clarify the situation. In the event you do experience a blackout of a favourite show, we hope that you will enjoy some of the many other exciting programming options we have available.
